| 404 Model Updates In the past 18-24 months prices in the 404 market has seen a steady increase. This may be directly correlated to the supply of the 404's we see in the marketplace. The models seem either to be close to pristine original/restored or fairly well used with little in between. Prices reflect accordingly, well used S404's back in 1999 ran between 1,200 Euro - 1,500 Euro, now prices run between 5,000 to 7,500 Euro for a used model with little more than parts models fetching 2,000 Euro. As a result prices have climbed in a short period. It is not unheard of to see a $20,000 S404 model in clean original or restored condition. |
